S. Piara Singh is a true embodiment of honesty, sincerity and dedication. He is a true representative of cultural values which are now fastly disappearing. He migrated to India, in Jalandhar at Lambra, from Montgomery (Pakistan) during India’s partition in 1947. With the strong determination and indefatigable spirits he laid foundation of this school. He donated his land and savings for this noble cause. School became operational in 1986, with the noble objective of eradicating illiteracy, ignorance and pernicious social evils through the spread of enlightened, progressive and value oriented education.
He believes that education is not just about earning degrees and certificates. So, school goes beyond the confines of classrooms. To bring out hidden potential of each child emphasis is laid on the cultivation of a scientific and analytical outlook.
He considers school children and staff his extended family. His precious time meant for his family is preferably utilized for school purposes. His endless and tireless efforts have brought the town Lambra and school International fame. He is a legend. Words fail to match his humility and sincere contribution to the cause of the school and people of the area.
